TURQUOISE CRACKLE G/G – 500ML

Description

Turquoise Crackle is a gloss brush-on glaze from our RPM Vision range, made for earthenware fired at 1020–1080°C. It fires to a smooth, glassy, high-shine surface. It fires with a crackled surface; rub crackle fluid into the fired glaze to darken the lines and bring out the pattern.

How to apply

Stir the glaze thoroughly. Brush the first coat onto clean, dust-free bisque ware and let it dry, then add a second coat. Depending on the thickness you want, apply a third or fourth coat. For best results, let the glaze dry for a day before firing.

Fire to around 1050°C. Holding (soaking) the kiln at top temperature for 10–20 minutes gives a smoother surface and brings out effects more strongly.
