Epoxy casting resin 05 is a clear casting resin for casting thin layers, the casting resin can also be applied with a brush or roller. The epoxy is widely used for casting small objects with colorants such as coasters, filling knots and veins, top layers on wood, resin art and other castings up to approximately 5 millimeters layer thickness. To pour thicker layers, use the Epoxy Deep Casting Resin 70mm

The epoxy casting resin consists of 2 components; resin and hardener mixed in a ratio of 2:1 by weight. You always receive the set in the correct ratio of resin and hardener.
After mixing, the epoxy begins to harden. Keep in mind that larger amounts of epoxy harden faster than thin layers. After approximately 8-12 hours the epoxy is dust dry and after approximately 24 hours the epoxy has completely hardened into a hard plastic.
For coating with a brush or roller, use approximately 250 grams per square meter per layer. Approximately 1kg of epoxy casting resin is required for pouring per 1 millimeter of thickness on 1 square meter. Want to know exactly how much your project needs?
