Description
Brown vitreous decorating slip is a ready-to-use 500ml slip for colouring and decorating bisque-fired pottery between 1020°C and 1150°C. Vitreous slips develop their own sheen in the kiln, so they usually do not need a glaze over them. For an even stronger colour, cover it with a transparent glaze. Apply it by brush, banding wheel or slip trailer.
Mid-fire 1020 – 1150°C
Vitreous slips develop their own shining. Usually they do not need to be coated. In order to achieve even stronger colours a coating with a transparent glaze is possible. Vitreous slips are applied on to biscuitted shards. The range of colours can be optionally increased by colouring the white vitreous slip with oxides and stains.
