Tips/Application
- Apply 2-3 times to leather-hard to dry, unfired or bisqued shards with a brush or paint horn
- Unglazed, the engobes become earthy matt
- You can achieve even greater color intensity by applying a thin layer of 9106 Transparent glossy
- Also well-suited for marbling and pen-and-ink techniques. Use slightly diluted on watered, bisque-fired, or leather-hard shards.
- Also ideal for sgraffito
- Can be mixed with BOTZ 9450 (30% engobe, 70% glaze) to create an inexpensive colored glaze with a silky glossy surface and fine dots, apply 3 times
- For small objects also usable as casting clay, fire at 1050°C, sintered frost-resistant
